What needed to change?
A hospital procurement audit found the "branded" helmets were counterfeit; the trademark owner threatened legal action; end-user safety could not be assured.

We verified authenticity of the current stock with the trademark owner.
We mapped the supply chain to the counterfeit source.
We switched to authorized distribution channels with serial verification.
We implemented inbound authenticity checks for all branded SKUs.
Counterfeit stock withdrawn; authorized supply secured with verified serials; the trademark owner withdrew legal action; hospital contracts retained.
