What needed to change?
Customer's compliance officer found the VDE certificates were for a different product series; without valid certification the range could not be legally sold in Germany.
How LIFA managed the work
We audited certificate authenticity directly with the issuing body.
We identified 3 suppliers with valid VDE/CE documentation for matching series.
We arranged re-testing of the existing product series at a certified lab.
We built a certificate-expiry monitoring schedule.
Re-testing passed for 10 SKUs; 4 SKUs re-sourced from certified suppliers; sales resumed without delisting; monitoring schedule now prevents recurrence.
