What needed to change?
Night-time temperature drop of 18-22°C in tanks meant morning water was lukewarm; customer complaints at 15% of installations; winter sales stalled.
How LIFA managed the work
We measured heat-loss coefficient on 5 tank models.
We identified low-density polyurethane insulation below spec.
We negotiated tank re-insulation at the factory.
We qualified an alternative manufacturer with certified heat-loss testing.
Night-time drop reduced to 7-9°C; complaints fell below 2%; winter sales recovered to plan; tank warranty extended to 10 years.
